Dalian based Liu Yuxiang sank a nerve tingling eight foot putt on the 18th green at Bohing Golf Club in Beijing to snatch victory in the final of the Volvo China Junior Championship from local player, Wang Zi Hao.

The 5^th Volvo China Junior Championship finished quarter-final and semi-finals today, eight players from four groups will make their last effort to chase the titles coveted by all junior golfers in China.

The 5^th Volvo China Junior Championship started today at Beijing Bohing Golf Club, with an 18-hole stroke-play qualifying round. Eight seeds for all four groups have lined up for the coming 3-round Match Play.

The 5^th Volvo China Junior Championship kicks off on Oct 2^nd, when the whole China is celebrating its 60^th birthday as well as Mid-autumn Festival, this makes the tournament especially meaningful.

Bohing GC, Beijing, Sunday 5^th Oct. In steady rain and cold conditions, Guangzhou pair Shao Yong-liang and Zhang Yu-yang won the senior boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the 2008 Volvo China Junior Championship over the demanding C course at Bohing Golf Club in Beijing.

The 4^th Volvo China Junior Championship first round match play at Beijing Bohing Golf Club is finished with a superb display on October 4. It took 10 hours for the 32 teenagers to played 36 holes to claw precious scores to defend the opportunities for tomorrow’s final.

A total of 32 teenage competitors from throughout the country get together at Beijing Bohing Golf Club today, to warm up for the 4^th Volvo China Junior Championship being played over the challenging C Course during the National Day holiday week, from October 2^nd to 5^th.

The 4^th Volvo China Junior Championship committee held a press conference in Beijing. It has been announced that the event will be held during the National Day holiday week this year, from October 2^nd to 5^th. By then, 32 top teenage competitors throughout the country will get together at Beijing Bohing Golf Club to compete for the champion of the season ending final of junior golf in China.

Golden Elephant Golf Club, Beijing. Friday 5^th October: The climax of three days intense and nail biting competition at the 3^rd Volvo China Junior Championship ended with victories for Ye Jian-feng, Zhang Jian, Luo Wen-hao and Wang Xin. Each was crowned junior champion of China in their respective group. Highlight of the championship was 15-year-old Ye Jianfeng’s win in Boys’ Group A (15 to 17 years). This earned the talented Shenzhen junior a highly coveted spot in the 2008 VOLVO China Open.

The 3rd Volvo China Junior Championship commenced today with one round qualifying stroke play at Golden Elephant Golf Club in Langfang, Hebei. A fierce competition has been staged between the 32 players aged from 11 to 17. After 18-hole Ye Jianwei, Zhang Jian, Liang Zheng, Wang Ziyi got the leading place in their respective group.  

The top 32 junior golfers in China are at Golden Elephant Golf Club at Langfang, Hebei Province during this National Day holiday week (October 2^nd-5^th) to compete for the title of the country’s season-ending junior event ---- the 3rd Volvo China Junior Championship.

China’s future golfing stars will tee off in the 3rd Volvo China Junior Championship from October 2nd to 5th, 2007 at Golden Elephant Golf Club knowing that a dream spot in the 2008 Volvo China Open is at stake in the boys’ 15-17 section.  The leading 32 junior players in the country will travel to Beijing to compete for the title of champion of the season ending grand finale of junior golf in China. Organizers consider this year’s field to be the strongest in the history of the Championship and feel that one of China’s future international golfing stars will emerge from this group in a few years.

2006 Volvo China Junior Championship is successfully finished on Oct 5 at Beijing CBD International Golf Club, after three rounds fiery match play. Four champions have been born among 28 top junior golfers.

2005 Volvo China Junior Championship will be launched in Beijing Golf Club from 2nd to 5th October. This event is organized by CGA (China Golf Association) and cooperated by Beijing Prosperity Media Culture CO., Ltd and Beijing Golf Club.
